With great pleasure and pride, we would like to announce that BlueCanary, our product offering in the higher education space has been acquired by Blackboard. Over the last 18 months, Lighthouse has evolved and solidified into a compelling offering to help higher ed institutions with their student retention efforts. We have been focusing on rolling out Lighthouse to customers through the summer and looking at several new possibilities into next year. We were presented with a great option to merge our efforts with the Blackboard analytics team. Our expertise in predictive analytics and building large scale platforms combined with Blackboard expertise in learning management with it’s scale, dominant presence and access to data made this a natural choice for both teams to work together.
